Eyepic Eye Care announced a revolutionary service using the only FDA-approved MiSight multifocal contact lenses meant to slow myopia progression in children. Myopia, which is a refractive eye condition causing nearsightedness, affects approximately 40% of Americans and cases are rapid increasing, especially among children. Patients with high myopia, a severe form of the condition, are more likely to develop glaucoma, muscular degeneration, cataracts, and retinal detachment as well as other eye diseases.
