BioNTech, and Pfizer have partnered to produce one of the 17 Covid vaccines currently in development. The vaccine has shown promising early-stage human trials among 24 participants, alongside other pharmaceutical companies like Moderna, Inovio Pharmaceuticals, and CanSino Biologics. BioNTech’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Ugur Sahin said, “These first trial results show that the vaccine yields immune activity and causes a strong immune response.”
